MINDFUL MESSAGE MONDAY

How can we empathize with another's perspective?

"It's normal to have healthy disagreements with people, but sometimes, we tend to avoid people with different opinions. We can still get along and build connections with people we disagree with. Being able to communicate and empathize with others even if they don't share a similar perspective is critical for being able to navigate school, a workplace, or any other group situation where people are bound to have different perspectives and viewpoints. As you progress through high school, learning to see things from someone else's point of view becomes an important life skill. Whether you're working a job, on a group project, or hanging out with friends, being able to understand different perspectives helps you communicate better and avoid unnecessary conflict."
